Dr. Nguyen Bao Thoa, director of Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI) cum National Coordinator of Shetrades and Hub-lead for Trade for Sustainable projects of International Trade Center (ITC, a join agency of UN and WTO) in Vietnam, she is joining the FoodExpo Trade Fair during Nov. 13-16 in order to support sustainable SMEs and women-owned SMEs to access international market.
With funding from United States Agency for International Development (USAID), within the framework of the Green Annamites project, Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI) organized a kick-off meeting of the subproject “Sustainable production and responsible consumption of medicinal plant and handicraft products for livelihood improvement and reduced wildlife poaching for enhancing biodiversity conservation in Thua Thien Hue province”. The subproject will be implemented in three districts of Nam Dong, Quang Dien and A Luoi of Thua Thien Hue Province from September 2019 to September 2020.

Within the framework of the project: Developing community based tourism in Bau Truc pottery village, August 21, VIRI organized a test tour and promotion workshops to assess and learn from experience in organizing tour, welcoming visitors and connecting travel companies.
