Cooperation Agreement with IRAT and Institute of Law and International Economics
The Government has issued Decree 06 regulating greenhouse gas emission reduction and ozone layer protection; Decision No. 01 approving the list of emission facilities requiring greenhouse gas inventory; Decision No. 888/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the Project on tasks and breakthrough solutions to implement the results of the COP26 Conference on Climate Change; Action Plan to reduce methane emissions by 2030; … and many other related documents with the goal of committing to Net Zero by 2050.
On February 12, 2024, VIRI signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Institute of Research Application of Technology and the Institute of Law and International Economics on providing training, consulting and implementation services on energy audit, greenhouse gas inventory and emission reduction measures, carbon credits for Vietnamese enterprises.
