Empowering women and girls in order to respond and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic in Sapa, Lao Cai province

Since January, 2023, VIRI started to implement the project: “Empowering women and girls in order to respond and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic in Sapa, Lao Cai province” with the following main activities:
- Enhance the value of local products for ethnic minority women affected by the Covid-19 epidemic
- Carry out awareness campaign on women's rights, and anti-human trafficking
- Set up an online tourism model and connect it to the online market to respond to and recover from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The project will be implemented within one year (Jan – Dec, 2023) with the collaboration with Women Union of Sapa town.
