A cooking lesson in Hanoi FOR FREE OF CHARGE

VIRI is pleased to announce that Mr. Katsuhisa Matsumoto, a Japanese confectioner, will conduct a cooking lesson in Hanoi FOR FREE OF CHARGE only for 5 café in Hanoi. In the lesson, you can learn how to make 4 sweets, Ice cream, Mochi, Cookie and Cupcake, using Kudzu powder. The Kudzu powder used in the lesson is made in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. Date and Time : 14:00~16:00 on 12th September 2018 (open at 13:30). Venue : Bakerland (address : 26 Bích Câu, Quốc Tử Giám, Đống Đa, Hà Nội. VIRI is pleased to announce that Mr. Katsuhisa Matsumoto, a Japanese confectioner, will conduct a cooking lesson in Hanoi FOR FREE OF CHARGE only for 5 café in Hanoi!

In the lesson, you can learn how to make 4 sweets, Ice cream, Mochi, Cookie and Cupcake, using Kudzu powder. Since no flour is used, all the 4 recipes are gluten-free!

The Kudzu powder used in the lesson is made in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province, which is hometown of Ho Chi Minh. The Kudzu powder was developed under a JICA project in 2017 and quality control process was appropriately set up. Needless to say, it meets standards and criteria for food issued by Vietnamese government.

– Price : for free of charge

● Eligibility of participants:

– You are from a café/shop where you sell sweets, such as Ice cream, Mochi, Cookie and Cupcake etc.

– Your café/shop has an oven to make cookie and cupcake

– You are one of cooks/confectioners in your shop

● How to register:

● What you should prepare:

– bag/box to bring sweets back home

– cooking wear, including apron and mask, if needed

● Note:

– Recruiting 5 participants

– First come, First served (We will close registration when receiving 5 registrations.)

– Only one participants from one café/shop

– Please make sure to get ready by 14:00. We suggest you to come to the venue before 13:50.

● About Mr. Katsuhisa Matsumoto:

He is a confectioner of “Kashi-dokoro Matsumoto”, a Japanese sweets shop in Nihonmatsu city, Fukushima Prefecture. Since its foundation in the Edo period, taste of “Miso Cake” has been be handed down over generations, which won the Minister Prize at the 23rd National Confectionary Exposition.

● About Kudzu powder:

It is from Nam Anh commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.
