Volunteer activities of UPS staffs at Hold the future Center

Morning April 9th 2017, VIRI organized a volunteer session for UPS Hanoi office at Hold the future center. Hold the future center previously, known as Hold the future facilities, is operated as a non profit since 2002. In 2009, Hold the future center is officially named Center for health care, vocation training and job creation for young disabled people, operating under Vietnam Association for supporting young disabled people. Within the framework of Promoting fair trade in Vietnam project, VIRI has supported Hold the future center in a number of activities: capacity building and awareness raising for fair trade, proposing improvements in production, and market promotion for some of the center products. The volunteer session has the participation of 23 UPS Hanoi office staffs. The volunteer group brought gifts for the learners at the centers. In addition, the group also presented musical performance for the learners and center staffs. The volunteer group supported 02 groups within the center: paper craft group and stuffed toy group. Mr. Le Hong Truong, center staff said: “I was very pleased to welcome UPS volunteers. The center highly regarded the volunteer activities from UPS Hanoi.”
