On the afternoon of May 23th, 2017, at the Ministry of Industry and Trade office, VIRI participated in the “EU-MUTRAP 6th steering committee meeting”. The chair of the meeting was Vice Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa with the participation of representatives of Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, representatives of Departments under Ministry of Industry and Trade and representatives of MUTRAP sub-projects. After a long period of effort to support European economic and investment trade policies, the project has successfully marked the path of a free trade economy.

The chair of the meeting was Vice Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa with the participation of representatives of Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, representatives of Departments under Ministry of Industry and Trade and representatives of MUTRAP sub-projects.

Mr. Bui Huy Son, Director of EU-MUTRAP Project  reports on the implementation of the project after 5 years, summarizes the project’s outstanding contents, progress of disbursement and gives favorable comments. And limitations and bottlenecks in implementation. At the meeting, Mr. Son also proposed a PE4 work plan for the second half of year 2017 to the EU Delegation, as well as preliminary discussions with sub-projects on project closure procedures and preparation for the next ARISE + program of the European Union. After a long period of effort to support European economic and investment trade policies, the project has successfully marked the path of a free trade economy.
