Ltd (VNCPC); Funzilife Ltd (Funzi) co-organized the Launching ceremony of the project. VIRI will support Hayami Company (Japan) and a group of Co bang growers in Duc Hoa district, Long An province in the development of products from the redundant portion of co bang’s straw. Products are intended for development including pen holders, jars, cup holders and vice versa

Sub-project dissemination meeting in Thua Thien Hue province
On September 25, VIRI will organize a dissemination meeting of the sub-project ““Sustainable production and responsible consumption of medicinal plant and handicraft products for livelihood improvement and reduced wildlife poaching for enhancing biodiversity conservation in Thua Thien Hue province”. The meeting is organized to summarize activities of the sub-project, acknowledge achieved results, impacts and lessons learned. Attending the meeting will be 150 delegates (government agencies, partners, customers, groups, cooperatives, research institutes and universities). The artists of Bau Truc pottery trade village perform in Vietnam National Village Forethnic Culture And Tourism
From July 24 to July 28, in Vietnam National Village Forethnic Culture And Tourism, in the topic “Melodies from the land”, artists of Bau Truc pottery trade village will introduce the process of traditional ceramics production and ceramic products. Besides, Cultural group of Bau Truc pottery trade village will perform Cham ethnic music. Audiences will have the opportunity to participate in dances, Cham folk dances in harmony with the drum of Ghi Nang, bustling Saranai, Paranung together with beautiful Cham girls. The theme “Melodies from the land” took place from July 24 to July 28 in the time of performing: Morning 8:00 to 10:30 and afternoon from 14:00 to 16:00. The Bau Truc Pottery Village Community-Tourism Management Board and specialized groups such as culinary, arts performance, pottery, and welcoming are established in the framework of Heritage-Based Tourism Development Project in Bau Truc Pottery Trade Village Truc is sponsored by the British Council, in which VIRI is implementing agency in 2019.
