The knowledge- training and sharing sessions on green and sustainable agriculture
Within the framework of the program “Development of Eco-Fair women businesses (sustainable business) in green and circular agriculture sector in Vietnam” (Eco Fair 2), funded by the European Union, the Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI), and the Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre Co. Ltd. (VNCPC), in collaboration with the Farmers’ Support Center – Vietnam Farmers’ Union and the Farmers’ Unions of Tuyen Quang, Kien Giang, and Binh Dinh provinces, organized information and knowledge- training and sharing sessions on green and sustainable agriculture in April 2025.
The program was held in hybrid formats, which was focusing on introducing the Eco Fair 2 initiative and sharing knowledge on green and sustainable agricultural practices. It aims to support women-led businesses/cooperatives/individual production households, or enterprises with a high proportion of female workers (referred to as DNN), in improving access to sustainable employment and business opportunities in the green and circular agriculture sector, while promoting social welfare activities in local communities.
