The Vietnam Institute of Research and Development for Rural Industries participated in the celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria.

On the occasion of the 145 years of the Day of Liberation of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Bulgaria Embassy organized the Event at Daewoo Hotel Hanoi in the evening of March 2, 2023. There were about 200 representatives from Foreign Embassies based in Hanoi, Vietnam’s ministries such as Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)… and International and national development organizations, associations, universities and companies attended the event. The Ambassador of Bulgaria in Vietnam, Madam Marinela Petkova thankful for the tight cooperation between the two countries Vietnam and Bulgaria, not only bilateral but also multilateral cooperation and support through EU, Asian and other agencies in the regions. She also emphasized the continuous effective cooperation for social and economic cooperation between the two countries. VIRI is the project implementer: The project “Building capacity for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to implement sustainable production in Vietnam as continuation part of the EU Eco-Fair Project” funded by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Diplomatic Republic of Bulgaria, represented by the Bulgarian Embassy in Vietnam, is the next implementation of the Eco Fair Project funded by the European Union with operational objectives in line with the EU’s Green Initiative and contributing to the realization of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development as well as priority objectives of the respective national development strategy/programme of the host state through raising awareness among MSMEs about the agricultural circular economy and building the capacity of MSMEs to implement sustainable production. steady.
