| On June 29th, VIRI organized a test tour at Bau Truc pottery village with the participation of representatives from Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism at Ninh Thuan Province, Center of Information and Tourism Promotion at Ninh Thuan Province, Phuoc Dan Town DPC.
On June 29th, VIRI organized a test tour at Bau Truc pottery village with the participation of representatives from Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism at Ninh Thuan Province, Center of Information and Tourism Promotion at Ninh Thuan Province, Phuoc Dan Town DPC. This activity is within the framework of Developing Community Tourism based on Heritage at Bau Truc Village, Phuoc Dan Town, Ninh Phuoc District, Ninh Thuan Province Project sponsored by the British Council. The test tour is organized with the aim to evaluate and acquire learned lessons from organizing the tour, greeting visitors and managing the environment surrounding the destination sites, etc. This is a preparation step to officially start the tour in the coming period. The test tour completed successfully. The representatives participated in activities of the tour such as exploring and experiencing producing traditional pottery, enjoying traditional meals with Cham ethnic minorities, enjoying Cham traditional performance arts and learning about the process of making traditional cakes of Cham ethnic minorities. Next, on July 22nd, with the introduction from Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism at Ninh Thuan Province, the tourism management board at Bau Truc will greet 200 guests visiting and experiencing pottery making. This is an encouraging sign for community tourism promotion at Bau Truc.
