Presenting evaluation survey results on potential products for Nam Giang District, Quang Nam

On December 22nd and 23rd, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, representing the research group from VIRI, has presented evaluation survey results on potential products for Nam Giang District, Quang Nam. These were results from the survey conducted to identify potential products in Nam Giang District back in November. This activity was conducted to discover and further understand the potential resources in ethnic communities in Nam Giang District. The potential resources includes handicrafts, NTFPs, forest products. The survey also aims to bring market proposals for these potential products.
Participating in the meeting with VIRI research group, there are representatives from 12 communes and town with total of 129 participants. The report on potential products for Nam Giang District from the research group has generally introduced the survey (aims, methods, schedules, etc.) and put forward a number of detailed survey information and market proposals for potential products and other related proposals for developing products.
In addition to presenting the survey results, Mrs. Trang shared with the group on marketing issues for these products. The group has shown to contribute enthusiastically and actively with ideas to develop and improve potential products locally.
This is a joy and an encouragement for the research staffs at VIRI in the consultation for product development and marketing for ethnic minorities.
