General purpose of the project:

The main goal of the project is to improve income for women and ethnic poor people through pro-poor value chain development of rattan and bamboo.

Specific objectives:

• To increase annual income for ethnic minorities and poor women through developing rattan, and Lung material value chain.
• To increase annual income for ethnic minorities and poor women from sustainable production and marketing of rattan and Lung raw material.
• To increase annual income through value addition of rattan and Lung products.

To promote enabling environment to support pro-poor rattan and Lung value chain development from local to regional level.
