Eco Fair Programme Mission Visits Businesses and Cooperatives in Tuyen Quang Province
Under the framework of the “Development of Eco-Fair Women Businesses in Green and Circular Agriculture Sector in Vietnam” (Eco Fair WBs) Programme, funded by the European Union (EU), from 7–12 July 2026, the Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI), in collaboration with the Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre Co., Ltd. (VNCPC) and the Tuyen Quang Provincial Farmers’ Union, conducted a field mission to work with participating businesses and cooperatives in Tuyen Quang Province.
The mission aimed to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the Eco Fair Programme’s support activities provided to beneficiary enterprises and cooperatives during the 2025–2026 period. The delegation visited production sites, held discussions with businesses and cooperatives, and reviewed the achievements resulting from their participation in the programme. At the same time, the team gathered feedback on challenges, practical constraints, and recommendations from beneficiaries to further improve and refine future support activities.
During the working sessions, the delegation also assessed the adoption of ecological agricultural practices, resource-efficient production methods, value-added product development, branding initiatives, and market expansion efforts. Feedback collected from participating enterprises and cooperatives will provide an important basis for the Eco Fair Programme to continuously enhance the quality and relevance of its support, ensuring that future interventions better respond to the actual needs of women-led businesses and cooperatives.
In addition to the monitoring activities, the mission conducted video filming at several outstanding businesses and cooperatives to produce communication materials showcasing ecological agriculture models integrated with eco-tourism development. These videos will serve as valuable promotional resources to disseminate sustainable production models, promote local products, and share the success stories of women-led businesses and cooperatives participating in the programme.
The mission to Tuyen Quang once again reaffirmed the Eco Fair Programme’s commitment to supporting businesses and cooperatives in their transition towards green, circular, and sustainable production models. Through these efforts, the programme aims to strengthen the competitiveness of women-led enterprises, increase product value, and contribute to environmentally sustainable rural economic development in Vietnam.
