Morning February 19th, in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, Investor Conference Spring 2017 was organized. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Former President Nguyen Sinh Hung, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue as well as leaders from Ministries, industries, local agencies and around 600 investors. Connecting to the local area, products from two projects “Research and Develop Local Specialties in Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province” and “Research and Develop Orange Products in Con Cuong District, Nghe An Province” were displayed at the conference.
The project “Research and Develop Local Specialties in Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province” was conducted from November 2016 to March 2017. The project “Research and Develop Orange Products in Con Cuong District, Nghe An Province” was conducted from September 2016 to February 2017. The two projects were sponsored by JICA and conducted with VIRI as a technical consultant.
Thanks to the effective activities from the project and local participation, as well as the support of local governments, the two projects have received positive results. Up to now, the products from these projects include: orange products (orange chocolate, sugared oranges, orange wine, orange essential oil, orange soap, orange salt, orange cassava powder, etc.), Sen Village wine, lime cassava powder, peanut butter, peanut butter cookies, peanut caramel treats, etc.
At the stall introducing products within the two projects at the Investors’ conference for Rooster Spring 2017, VIRI and the project was able to greet and introduce to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, former President Nguyen Sinh Hung and other leaders from ministries and local government in Nghe An and many businesses.
The products were praised in both quality and packaging. The project and VIRI were pleased to showcase local specialties as well as new products with the support and encouragement from visitors.
Within VIRI showcased products, the peanut caramel treat was chosen as gifts for Government Office. This is a great source of encouragement for the project and VIRI to continue to complete project goals and contribute to the socioeconomic development of Nghe An.
