VIRI accompanies UPS in volunteering activities at Tam Ngoc Cooperative
VIRI accompanies UPS in volunteering activities at Tam Ngoc Cooperative on the morning of July 29, 2022. Volunteers assisted the Cooperative in harvesting fruit, packing herbal tea, leveling the soil, fertilizing, sowing seeds, etc.
Participants from UPS included Ms. Laura Lane, EVP, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer; Ms. Shiumei Lin, Vice President, Public Affairs & Sustainability, UPS Asia Pacific; Mr. Squall Wang, Managing Director, UPS Vietnam and 23 officers and employees of UPS.
Also this morning, Ms. Laura Lane, UPS representative presented a mock check to VIRI for implementation of the project Empowering Women and Girls for preparedness, response and recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic in Sapa, Lao Cai province. The project will be implemented from August 2022 to August 2023.
