VIRI meets JICA experts and Japanese company representatives in Vietnam
On May 15th, 2023, VIRI had a great pleasure to welcome Mr. Kayano Naoki, JICA expert, Project Coordinator and Mr. Hama Shugo, Project Expert of the Project for Strengthening Safe Crop Value Chain in Northern Vietnam funded by JICA accompanied with some members from one of the biggest conglomerate companies in Japan
The project side highly appreciated VIRI’s activities in the past time and considered future cooperation opportunities in the project target provinces.
The Japanese company expressed interest in the initiatives on agricultural by-products and was willing to work with VIRI to experiment with processing agricultural by-products of good original source in order to enhance the agricultural value chain as well as to contribute to the circular economy in Vietnam.
