General purpose of the project:
The general objective of project is to develop and enhance capacity of Fair Trade businesses in Viet Nam to comply with European market access requirements. The project focus on Fair Trade certification, capacity building for SMEs, market link and advocacy.
Specific objectives:
- To assess the potential of Fair Trade business in Viet Nam.
- To raise awareness and to promote Fair Trade business in Viet Nam.
- To build the capacity for Fair Trade SMEs in Viet Nam to comply with European market access requirements.
- To develop market linkages between Fair Trade companies in Vietnam and Fair Trade buyers in Europe and to develop local Fair Trade channels.
- To develop trade policy on Fair Trade in Vietnam.
