Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI) and partner DBLP Company Limited (VNCPC); have that very great honour to receive grant from the AVPN for the project: “Commercial seaweed cultivation for career transition and climate change response in coastal provinces”. Implementation period of 2024 – 2025.

The project’s objective is to develop seaweed farms along the coast of Vietnam with high-tech seedling production, managed farming communities and cooperatives and appropriate cooperation from local authorities; to contribute to bringing positive impacts to society and the environment, creating job opportunities for local people, implementing circular production, and adapting to climate change.

VIRI is under the process of applying for approval letter for project’s implement in the provinces. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the AVPN for this grant and look forward to receiving support from ministries, localities and units so that the project can be effectively implemented.
